FEAST: Flavors of Resilience

Bringing together like-minded individuals for a night of culinary creativity and political art from two Chicago Chefs, Creatives and Cannabis enthusiasts.

This multi-sensory experience includes a four-course meal inspired by our indigenous roots and traditions, curated by Chef Rocio and Chef Nico that is sure to spark conversations around the dinner table.

Rocio Vargas is Chef-Owner of Planda, a chef-driven multi-sensory dining experience where they create gourmet cuisine that includes catering, event planning, infusion classes, and private chef consultations. Nicolas Gonzalez-Medina is an Artist and Activist currently living in Oakland, California. His political art consists of large scale woodblock posters he carves and prints by hand. They will be on display giving diners a first look before opening to the public at 7 pm. His passion to feed others delicious, hearty and nutritious food has led him to cater events for social justice organizations and art galleries in California and the South West while continuously hosting private dinner parties at his home in Oakland California.
