This discussion will dive into what’s happened over the past several months in the Illinois market and provide updates related to the Craft Grow licenses, the legal status of dispensary licenses, and pending legislation in the state.
Redmond is excited to be joined by the team at Chicago NORML to discuss the work the organization has been doing in Illinois as well as provide legislative updates for the state. The conversation will feature the following individuals who are part of Chicago NORML:

As always, the conversation will be moderated by Chris Atkinson, Project Executive for the Redmond’s Cannabis Group, a specialized team of cannabis and construction industry experts dedicated to Redmond’s growing portfolio of cannabis projects. Chris brings deep expertise in cannabis operations, facility construction, and stakeholder management. Her experience includes scaling cannabis companies from licensure to operational status while also managing the construction of more than 300,000 SF of cultivation facilities and dispensaries across national markets. Since joining Redmond, Chris has continued to position herself as a thought leader, advocate, and role model. In the last year, she has been part of the Illinois Women in Cannabis inaugural mentorship program, served on Olive Harvey’s Cannabis Advisory Board, and participated in outreach/programming related to public policy and fair and equal access to the cannabis industry.
Hosted by Redmond, Coffee & Cannabis brings together industry leaders to discuss a myriad of cannabis related topics, with the goal of helping our current, prospective, and future clients efficiently bring their business to market in a rapidly growing, highly regulated industry. Now in its second year, Coffee & Cannabis has attracted more than 400 registrations and provided essential industry knowledge to individuals across Chicago and the Midwest.
