DCEO Social Equity Cannabis Workshop- East St. Louis

The Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) – Office of Minority Economic Empowerment (OMEE), State Senator Christopher Belt, State Representative LaToya Greenwood, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) invite you to attend our workshop that offers social equity applicants for cannabis business licenses technical assistance and additional information about the upcoming social equity loan program. DCEO is planning additional workshops this month so check the Cannabis webpage often for upcoming events.

In addition, DCEO has received many questions regarding the license application. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) will be reviewing the license applications and has released two rounds of Q&A on their website (Round 1 Q&A, Round 2 Q&A). Please be sure to review these documents as you work through the application.

Lastly, DCEO will be posting the application for the social equity loan program in the near future so please stay tuned for additional updates. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming workshop.
